The Suhana Retreat is located in Arur village in South India. Designed for Suhana, this retreat, takes references and design inferences from the strong context and vernacular architecture of the region right from structure to spaces. Along with the impact of traditional architecture in the planning for the retreat, it also showcases salvaged elements like the wooden columns which are an important element of south Indian architecture. This 10,000 sq. ft. retreat accommodated on a 2 acre site has been completed in late 2018.
