Hermitage retreat

Located on a serene hillock overlooking the city of Pune, ‘The Hermitage retreat’ is a compact composition of intricately detailed spatial experiences, a contemporary interpretation of vernacular domains. The 3000 sq.ft house is an unimposing structure designed to ensure minimum intervention to the natural ecosystem of the site. The project was completed in 2016 in all aspects including the landscape design for the 43,000 sq.ft. site which was carefully designed to include various indigenous plants and a variety of grasses to add a sense of softness and flow to the rustic look of the stone walls of the house.
