This 4000 sq.ft modern and contemporary bungalow, on a narrow rectilinear plot in Pune, is a blend of functionality & aesthetics and is characterized by simple clean lines, elegant minimal look and stylish poise. The linearity of the 6000 sq. ft. plot, gave a cue to linear planning. The overall massing is a result of addition and subtraction of volumes in the grid. These volumes are further articulated by niches, openings, slits, recesses, fins, railing, colors and shadows thus created. When the project was completed in 2011, the innovative use of vertical metal fins for all the major openings formed a striking feature of the house.
