The box house nestles in the valley of a small ridge at Talegaon in Pune. The form of this house, a simple box takes cue from minimalist architecture and this language also continues through the interior spaces. The 3000 sq.ft house touches upon the concept of positive and negative spaces by optimally using the void formed underneath the floating mass as a cozy family space. The project being one of the first few projects by the firm, completed in 2009, it was taken up as a challenge that the house should cause as least interference to the 1 acre site as possible.
